London Calling

Epic walks through London’s windy streets, watching the people and pace of life pass by with just an old film camera and a pair of penny loafers… London, come rain or come shine~ via fromme-toyou

Pike Place Market

I love Farmer’s Markets…especially Seattle’s Pike Place Market. There is a refreshing feeling that comes from such places where nature’s resources are celebrated… you can enjoy locally grown produce and fruits, fresh baked goods, purchase meats that have been raised humanely, fall in love with fresh seasonally flowers, get inspired by handmade crafts, watch buskers and people. If you have not been to your local Farmer’s Market, check it out!  Images via From Me To You

“We now know enough to know that we will never know everything. This is why we need art: it teaches us how to live with mystery. Only the artist can explore the ineffable without offering us an answer, for sometimes there is no answer. John Keats called this romantic impulse ‘negative capability.’ He said that certain poets, like Shakespeare, had ‘the ability to remain in uncertainties, mysteries, doubts, without any irritable reaching after fact and reason.’ Keats realized that just because something can’t be solved, or reduced into the laws of physics, doesn’t mean it isn’t real. When we venture beyond the edge of our knowledge, all we have is art.” Jonah Lehrer’s Proust Was a Neuroscientist
